Sundance is a residential neighbourhood in the south-east quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located east of Macleod Trail, is bounded to the north-east by the Fish Creek Provincial Park and to the south by Marquis of Lorne Trail. The 33-acre man-made Sundance Lake was constructed in the middle of the community, and residents have easy access to the public beach of Sikome Lake.

The park was developed by Keith Construction and opened in 1980. The lake is approximately 33 acres and the park is approximately 22 acres. On average, the lake is 22' deep and is 38 feet at its deepest point. This park and lake are for the exclusive use of members and their guests. Please note that Lake Sundance does not provide supervision or lifeguards for park/lake use.

An encumbrance is registered against the title of the homeowner, so lake fees are mandatory. Lake fees are $210.00 (+GST) per year. Fees for homes on the lake are $285.00 (+GST). A member is the homeowner(s) and/or their spouse and their unmarrried children who live at the residence. Members will be issued ID cards that must be presented when entering the park.

There are two cook shacks, which one may be reserved for up to three hours. It is wheel chair accessible. There are also several outdoor BBQs & picnic tables (briquettes are required for the BBQs). Here are some of the great features of the park; a waterfall, a sandy beach, off-shore fishing, a wading pool, 2 new playgrounds, horseshoe pits, a basketball court, a beach volleyball court, paved rink for rollerblading & roller hockey, paved walking path around the park. There are several benches along the path and Handicap parking

It is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 14 Alderman Linda Fox-Mellway.

Schools include: two public elementary schools; Fish Creek Elementary School, and Sundance Elementary School, one public junior high; MidSun Junior High, a public high school; Centennial High School & one Catholic (Separate) School; Father James Whelihan School (kindergarten to Grade 9).
